Personal Training
In Rotherham.
I don't have a gym in Rotherham, so I come to you. That means a full hour of 1-2-1 coaching in your own home gym, or at whichever gym you already pay for. Rotherham is about six miles from me in Sheffield, well inside the 50 miles I travel. Here is every area I cover.
Where We'd Train
There is no Performance Coaching gym in Rotherham and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. Coaching here is travel-to-you, which in practice means one of three things.
- Your home setup. A garage, a spare room, a shed with a rack in it. If you've already bought the kit, this is the cheapest way to finally use it properly.
- Your own gym. If the gym you already pay for lets outside coaches in, I'll meet you there. Worth a quick ask at reception, as policies differ.
- My gyms in Sheffield. If you'd rather train somewhere fully kitted out, it's a short drive to The Moor or Wadsley Bridge and there's no travel fee at that end.
Who Trains With Me Here
Mostly people for whom the journey is the thing that keeps killing it. Take the commute out and the session stops being a negotiation every week.
- People with a home gym they're not convinced they're using properly
- Shift workers who can't hold a fixed weekly slot at a busy gym
- Parents who can't add a forty-minute round trip to a one-hour session
- Anyone who'd rather learn to lift without a gym floor watching
An Hour,
Not Fifty Minutes.
Every 1-2-1 session is a full hour, and the clock starts when we start training, not when I pull up outside. We begin with a free assessment: your goals, training history, injuries and schedule, before any programming happens. Your first paid session covers a movement and strength baseline so I know exactly where to start you.
After that it's your programme: technique work, progressive loading, and nutrition guidance that fits how you actually eat. Training at home does change one thing, which is that I build the programme around the kit you've genuinely got rather than a machine list you don't. If what you have isn't enough for the goal you've picked, I'll tell you that at the assessment rather than six weeks in.
Training in
Rotherham
Do you travel to me?
Yes, that's the whole offer in Rotherham. I travel up to 50 miles from Sheffield and Rotherham is about six of them, so you're comfortably inside. There's a travel fee on top of the session price which depends on where exactly you are — tell me your postcode and I'll give you the figure up front.
Do I need my own gym membership?
Only if you want to train at a gym. If you've got a setup at home we'll use that and you need nothing else. If you'd rather train at a gym, it can be one you already belong to, assuming they allow outside coaches, or you can come over to one of the Sheffield gyms I work out of.
What if I've barely got any equipment?
More is possible than people expect — a pair of adjustable dumbbells, a bench and some bands covers a lot of ground for a long time. The honest answer is that it depends on your goal, and at the free assessment I'll tell you straight whether what you own is enough for what you want. If it isn't, I'd rather point you at online coaching or a gym than take your money for a plan that can't work.
Can I train before or after work?
Usually, yes. Early mornings and evenings are most of what I do, and travel-to-you sessions are often easier to slot in than gym ones because there's no opening hours to work around. Tell me your rota and I'll build the week around it.
How much is it?
A 4-session kickstart is £, monthly PT starts at £, and blocks work out cheaper per session. Everything is listed on the packages page. The first consultation is free either way, and the travel fee is quoted separately so you can see exactly what it's adding.
